Traditional: Whisk ½ Teaspoon (c.1.0g) of Ceremonial Grade Matcha into a bowl (Chawan) with 15 ml of water at 85°C to form a paste. Add a further 85 ml of water and whisk (Chasen) until smooth and frothy.

Matcha Latte: For a 10oz/300ml Matcha Latte prepare an ‘espresso’ matcha concentrate of 3.0g Barista Grade Matcha in 30ml of Water at 85°C then add 270ml of steamed milk (dairy or plant-based) for a smooth, creamy latte with a vibrant green finish.

Barista Grade Matcha is a Premium Japanese Green Tea Powder designed for making smooth, vibrant Matcha Lattes. It offers the same rich flavour and colour you’d expect from Ceremonial Grade Matcha, but at a more accessible price point – perfect for cafes, coffee shops and home users.

Our teabags are made from Soilon, a plant-based mesh derived from Organic Sugarcane, making them fully biodegradable. You can dispose of our packaging in a food waste bin, contributing to a cleaner environment and supporting a greener future.
